Nestled along both sides of Kaumualii Hwy. (Rte. 50) between Lawai and Eleele, Kalaheo is about seven miles west of Poipu Beach. This tiny town enjoys a cooling tradewind climate, quaint shops, restaurants, Kukuiolono Park and Golf Course and the National Tropical Botanical Gardens. Kalaheo also has many fine residential neighborhoods, including one of its newest, Kakela Makai, featuring outstanding ocean and mountain views with its own community pool and recreation center. Kakela Makai has 199 buildable lots, and 72 custom homes already built. Lot prices range from $325k to $550k, with an average size of 10,000 sq.ft. Home prices range from $950,000 to $1.6 million.
